A Day in Goose Creek

The most fun I ever had in Goose Creek was actually at night - celebrating my 30th birthday MANY years ago. Night time is the right time for experiencing this part of town - especially Friday and Saturday nights when there's karaoke at the Nowhere Bar.

I started my birthday celebration at the ATP indoor gun range. I realize not everyone approves of shooting firearms, but it was really fun to practice in a safe, responsible setting with knowledgeable instructors. They have guns you can use, ear/eye protection to wear, and we turned it into a competition to see who was the best shot.

I recommend eating at Bessinger's for good old fashioned barbecue, sweet tea, and banana pudding.

Even if you aren't into karaoke, you should still check out Nowhere Bar. It's a dive for sure! They are known for their wings, darts, billiards and excellent people watching (my favorite pastime).
