What began with a single agent in 1990, evolved into a mother/daughter team in 2004, and is now a team of 5 running a small business with annual revenues of $1 million.

It all started with Dede getting her real estate license after moving to Charleston in 1990. When daughter B.V. left the corporate world to partner with her, they spent eight years strengthening their system before branching outside the family. Lauren fit right in when she joined the duo in 2012. Once Vanessa Beechem came aboard in 2015 and Sarah Yandle transitioned from her previous father/daughter partnership in 2021, the team dynamic was complete. Their synergy is propelled by a commitment to excellence and diligent work ethic.

Dede and her family moved to Charleston from Savannah after Hurricane Hugo. After building two spec homes, she decided to get her real estate license. It’s been a perfect fit for her love of hospitality and mission to help others. Daughter B.V. moved back to Charleston after college to work at Blackbaud. She and Dede collaborated on her wedding planning and were pleasantly surprised by how well they worked together. Dede’s business had gained enough momentum to warrant expansion, so B.V. joined her in 2004.

After 2 years in the corporate marketing world, Lauren Newman decided to pursue a career shift into real estate. She joined the team as a buyers agent in 2012. She has an in-depth knowledge of the Mt. Pleasant market which she calls home. Lauren's eye for home design and passion for the Charleston community make her a great fit for sellers and newcomers alike.

B.V. met Vanessa Nichols Beechem doing charity work together for the Junior League of Charleston. Vanessa was looking to transition from a 7-year banking career into real estate when B.V. asked her to join the team. Her knack for numbers and command of the commercial sector make her a fierce negotiator.

In 2021, Sarah Gipe Yandle joined the team bringing 15 years of her own real estate experience, which began in Atlanta. She has a deep understanding of the market from growing up here and working with her father, Timm Gipe. Her commitment to client care rounds out the team's talents.
